On Tuesday, 04.14.2009, at approximately 2145 Hrs, deputies with the Harris County Precinct #4 Constable's Office were called to the 7000 Blk of Foxbrook, in the Foxwood Subdivision, in regards to an injured man. Upon arrival they were met by two witnesses who advised the man had been beaten by two black males who fled the scene in a mid-1990's model white Chevrolet Caprice. EMS arrived and pronounced the male dead at the scene. Investigators with the Harris County Sheriff's Office Homicide Unit were called to the scene and took over the investigation.

On Monday, 04.20.2009, investigators with the Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit charged Diabre McCraw with manslaughter in the beating death of Lonnie Cruthird.

Bond: $ 30,000
McCraw appears to have moved out of the residence where he was staying, in the 1300 Blk. of Twin Falls, and may have returned to his home state of Arkansas.
