Jury duty scam warning tips from the Harris County Sheriff's Office

Scammers are calling Harris County residents, impersonating HCSO deputies, and demanding cash payments for fake arrest warrants. They use real personal information, fake badge numbers, and counterfeit documents to make it feel real.

It is not real. Do not pay.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office will never demand cash or bail payments over the phone.
