Claiming Inmate Account Funds – Harris County Jail
If you were previously incarcerated in the Harris County Jail and believe you may have been released without receiving funds from your inmate account (including money deposited at intake or by outside sources), you may contact the Sheriff’s Office to verify whether funds are available.
- Clerks are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to assist you.
- Please call 346-286-1120 or 346-286-1142 to check your account status.
If funds are available, staff will provide instructions on how to claim your money.
When calling, please be prepared to provide:
- Full Name
- Date of Birth
- SPN Number (if available)
