Training Academy Expansion

This project will expand the current HCSO and Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office Training Academy by adding 15,000 square feet of training space.

The existing academy has eight classrooms, two of which are assigned to the Fire Marshal’s Office. Since 2018, multiple training programs have required long-term use of several classrooms at the same time. The expansion will allow the academy to host simultaneous Basic Peace Officer Courses and other essential training, helping meet growing regional training needs.
